We are often asked ‘Who is Honey?’

The full story of Honey will never be known. Our part in her life was short, but her impact on our life and the lives of other animals was huge.

She gave us her trust, she had full confidence in us, she was willing to do the journey even though none of us really knew where were heading together.

It was intense and it was unforgettable.

Honey was in our care for just a short time, she was extremely emaciated when she came to us.

But before she died she knew warmth, gentle feeding, love and attention.

On passing she was buried and we wept.

But her rescue and passing shone the light onto a dark place where many other animals suffered.

Honey’s showed the way.
